Benefits of Vanilla Chai Tea

Heart Health

There is evidence that indicates that vanilla chai tea may be beneficial for heart health.

Cinnamon, one of the key components in vanilla chai tea, may lower blood pressure, according to animal research.

Cinnamon has been demonstrated to help some people lower their triglycerides, “bad” LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol by up to 30%.

The majority of studies employed daily amounts of cinnamon ranging from 1-6 grams, which is often more than you’d find in a cup of vanilla chai tea.

But according to new research, dosages as low as 120 mg per day would be adequate to provide these heart-healthy effects.

several studies indicate that the black tea used to produce chai tea may help lower blood cholesterol levels.

The majority of studies have found that consuming four or more cups of black tea daily may somewhat lower blood pressure readings. Additionally, it appears that consuming three or more cups of black tea each day reduces the risk of heart disease by 11%.

However, not all research agrees, and none has looked into how chai tea specifically affects heart health. Therefore, additional research is required before drawing firm conclusions. You may also check the Benefits of pine needle tea Tea

Reduce Blood Sugar Levels

Vanilla Chai Tea; All You Need to Know

Vanilla Chai tea might help with better blood sugar regulation.

This is because it contains cinnamon and ginger, both of which may have favorable effects on blood sugar levels.

For instance, research indicates that cinnamon may lower fasting blood sugar levels and insulin resistance by 10% to 29%.

When you have less insulin resistance, it is easier for your body to use insulin to move sugar from your bloodstream into your cells. Blood sugar levels may be lowered as a result.

People with type 2 diabetes were given two grams of ginger powder daily in a recent trial, and the results showed that it could drop blood sugar levels by up to 12%.

According to studies, the recommended daily amounts of ginger and cinnamon are typically between 1-6 grams. Such doses are more than what you can obtain from chai tea bags purchased at the supermarket or from a cup made by your neighborhood cafe.

For the greatest results, try making the tea from scratch. In this manner, you can omit the usual amount of cinnamon and ginger and instead add a little extra.

It’s also crucial to keep in mind that, in contrast to chai tea made at home, the types served at cafes are frequently very sweet, which would likely counteract the benefits of chai tea’s other constituents for decreasing blood sugar.

Reduce Nausea And Improve Digestion

Vanilla Chai tea contains ginger, a spice with a well-known anti-nausea effect.

Ginger appears to be particularly effective for reducing morning sickness during pregnancy. A review of research involving a total of 1,278 pregnant women discovered that consuming 1.1–1.5 grams of ginger daily considerably decreased nausea.

Additional vanilla chai tea constituents include cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom, all of which have antibacterial properties that appear to help lessen stomach issues brought on by bacterial illnesses.

Black pepper, another ingredient in vanilla chai tea, also seems to have comparable antibacterial properties.

Aside from that, studies on animals suggest that black pepper may raise the number of digestive enzymes required to effectively break down food and assist optimum digestion.

However, the amount of pepper used in these animal studies was up to five times larger than what people typically consume. hence, more research is required before concluding. You can also check my article on China tea; all you should know

Help You Lose Weight

Vanilla chai tea may assist prevent weight gain and encourage fat removal.

First off, soy or cow milk, both of which are excellent sources of protein, are typically used to make chai tea.

Foods high in protein are widely known for increasing feelings of fullness and stifling appetite.

As a result, chai tea is probably better than other varieties of tea for quelling your appetite and keeping you from overeating later in the day. It might even be useful as a snack.

Research suggests that the type of black tea used to make chai contains elements that may promote fat breakdown and aid your body in consuming fewer calories from food.

Additionally, a scientific study found that consuming three cups of black tea each day may help avoid unwelcome weight gain or the accumulation of abdominal fat.

It’s important to remember that these effects are still minor and seem to have a short-term effect.

Not to mention, studies on animals have shown that consuming black pepper may help minimize the accumulation of body fat, however, it is still unknown how these results apply to people.

You should be cautious not to consume too much-added sugar when drinking vanilla chai tea. Some popular vanilla chai tea varieties have large amounts, which would likely cancel out any of the above-mentioned small benefits.

Chai tea may have additional calories depending on the kind and quantity of milk used.

Conclusion
